Allow myself to introduce...myself

Hello everyone! I am a 25 year old, size 62 Cannondale rider, live and work in Boulder, Colorado, and have recently been plugged back into the cycling world by attaining a job with a sports marketing company. Groundzero Sports Marketing Group is the exclusive expo management company of the Pro Cycling Tour and exclusive event management company of the Bicycling Magazine Great Gear Exchanges. So I'll be "OnTour" this year at each of the races running the expo and gear exchanges. Lancaster, PA, Trenton, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, New York City, San Francisco, CA, Miami, FL. I'll see Lance race a few times in person, probably meet countless pro racers and I want to know cycling inside and out so I don't sound/look like an idiot when I'm hanging. So I joined the forum to meet some enthusiasts, spread the race/gear swap word, and learn me some cycling knowledge. I know most of the members are going to be gear heads, so I didn't think it would be a problem to spread the word. If there is, let me know. I'm working on getting the pics of the Richard Sachs from my pops in CT, perhaps I'll post a pic of my pup, samson, a bernese mtn. dog in place of my picture. Shoot me an email if you are interested in the PCT expos or Bicycling Magazine GGE and I'll be happy to hook you up with the info. Is it cool if I post the events on the calendar?, like I did for the Boulder Great Gear Exchange so everybody can know and go!

Hey OnTour, welcome to the forums. Sounds like a pretty cool job. I'm going to try to make it down to the Miami Race, I'll look you up if I can make it!

Sampson huh? I've got a yellow Lab named Sierra! She's my favorite riding partner. Never has another commitment, always ready to go, never pissed because she's not having a good day, always lets me pick which trail to ride, and never complains. Oh yeah, she' always go a smile! :D

Hello everyone! I am a 25 year old, size 62 Cannondale rider, live and work in Boulder, Colorado,
Welcome from another Coloradan, living in Parker, working in Westminster.

Sounds like a most interesting job. Perhaps you can give us some insights on Bicycling Magazine, to which I no longer sunscribe. In fact, I might even write a poll to see who DOES subscribe to Bicycling and other mags.

Anyway, this group is composed of ALL levels of bikers, and your input and schedules are welcomed.

Thank you DnvrFox! Are you coming up for the Great Gear Exchange this weekend? It is going to an excellent event with tons of discounted outdoor gear. Hope to see you here. Not sure what light I can shed on Bicycling Magazine but so far they have been great to work with, very cooperative and prompt with my requests. I'll be working with them quite abit this year so I'll keep you posted with my experiences. Have you checked out their web page lately? www.bicycling.com or www.mountainbike.com to see what they've posted about the Gear Exchanges.
Ride with a smile,
Don

I'm going to try to make it to the Gear Exchange. Me and a buddy are thinking about doing some riding in Boulder this weekend. I am interested to see about some of these good deals.

Peace
Dave
