Commuter Biker in Torono

Hi all,

I'm a commuter biker from Toronto. I've been biking for two year seasons [this being my 3rd]. I'm not one of those of "What a nice day for a bike to work". Instead I'm more of a "I'm going to go as fast as I can for as long as I can". This has recently highlighted the need to become a more informed biker and I'm hoping people here can help me to do that.

Dan

Thanks for the welcome and I've been exploring around the forums and have got to say I'm a little overwhelmed at the amount of info. Is there a section that I simply have to start following? As a newbie in Toronto who is starting to learn that his bike is pretty ****ty...

You can check out the commuting section, plenty of good stuff there.
And don't worry too much about what kind of bike you have. Read a bit
and you'll see that while some folks ride in Carbon fiber bikes worth
thousands, there are people here that got their bikes from the dumpster.
You ride a bike, that's all that counts
