New to... All of it!
Hi everyone,
My name is Nate. I'm 25 and haven't ridden a bike since I was 12. My birthday (April) I find out that my license will no longer be valid due to tickets etc... that I acquired in New Mexico. So my brother decides to buy me a bike for my birthday and here I am. I am totally pumped! I have some friends who ride fixed so I thought I would give it a try. So here I am with a KHS flite 100, the first week I get two flats, then find out that I have to pump the thing nearly every day. I ride to work and anywhere else I need to go, 7 days a week. I am learning a lot though still feel like I know nothing about bikes. If anyone has some basic tips on maintaining and upgrading I would love to hear it. From reading the forums I can tell that some of you are not a fan of fixed, I am aware of the "dangers"
Thank you all for reading this, can't wait to start discussing!
