Can anyone identify this bike?

My son and I found this bike over the weekend. It says it was made in West Germany and it has a logo of HWH on it. My internet searches haven't gotten me very far, just curious, he loves the thing and he probably put 20 miles on it this weekend.
Thanks.
Scott.

The folks in Classic & Vintage may be able to help.
