Western IL (St Louis.MO) Here
Popping in to introduce myself.
Moving away from weight lifting and into more of a running and biking routine. Still lifting 4-5 days a week but really enjoying my biking time. So much so i went out and bought a new to me Giant OCR2 this week to replace my mountain bike.
Very new to all the lingo and Im one of the guys you see on the trails with tennis shoes shorts and tee shirt. No bike shorts and "yellow" jersey. Hope this doesnt label me. Seems like many on the trails look down on this but as someone who has only biked as a way to just burn off steam and get a workout in i havent worried about looking the part as of yet.
Normally get in somewhere round 80 and 100 miles a week.
Figured i would sign up since i have my first race this Sunday. Its actually a biathlon. 5 mile bike and 20 mile ride to see if this is something i enjoy.
Look forward to soak up alot of info here. I need help so many dumb questions may come your way.

Welcome to the forums and don't worry about what other's think. Just wear what you like. Ride what you like. And enjoy.
