Left-handed
Hi there,
I am looking for a bicycle with a left-handed rear derailleur. I am not able to shift with my right hand. My old bikes had friction levers on the downstem tubes. Can't find those anymore. I have considered single speed for my area, but I do not know where to find one to demo. I am not one to build my own bike (for the same reason that I am not able to rt hand shift).
Over 40 and can't stop moving.

Hi Mary,
you might want to check out the Classic & Vintage forum, where downtube shifters are still popular, or the repair forum. It shouldn't take too much to retrofit a bike for your needs. Where are you located? There might be a forum member in your area who could recommend a good bike shop to help you.
