Hello from Northern Virginia

My name is RedFeather and I was directed to this forum by some fellows on the Yellow airgun forum. Looks like a great, friendly and informative place. Been out of riding for a good many years and, owing to second childhood, am looking to get back into it. Things certainly have changed, judging from some of the bikes I've been looking at. Hoping I can find some helpful gears to climb that learning curve!

Looks like it. I have a couple of bikes at present. One's a circa '72 Raleigh Supercourse that I picked here in one of the neighborhood annual yard sales. The other is a Rans Tailwind recumbent that I'm still trying to get used to. But I'm more in the market for a comfort or hybrid bike. Being visually challenged, I find myself more or less looking over the top of my glasses on the road bike, LOL. The recumbent will, hopefully, work out, but I don't think it's quite what I need for slowly tooling around the neighborhood. At least, it doesn't feel too stable at really low speeds. Again, I'm nervously learning to ride that one.
