Cycling fan!

Hello everyone here at the forum I'm glad to have come across this site and look forwad to getting involved in conversation with you all. In the last 6months I've taken up cycling again and I really want to get serious with it. Bit by bit though

Hello, I was riding some junk steel Y-frame bike but it had a great blue colour and rode fine for me... until saturday when the rear wheel bearing gave out. I was planning on getting a Mongoose Crossway 250 hybrid sports bike but found out it was sold out and have opted for a mountain bike... I know I probably shouldnt have but I have more trust in the bigger tyres as thats all I've experience and just having an alloy frame will make a difference to my riding... I hope

Welcome to BF. Get something you're confident with and then you'll be more apt to ride.

Howdy, what kind of biking are you involved in?
Commuting, off road, etc.

Hey there, I mainly ride on the road to and from work and at the week end i'll ride 9miles to central london and back to get a cuban cigar but I find i'm an aggressive rider and like to come of curbs and go on grass and back on pavements to get round people. Don't think I ride on the pavement often I just do it when I feel its necassery. But yes as I said I'm an aggressive rider and would feel comfortable with a solid bike.
