What is up

Hello, I've been riding bikes for fun my whole life but I'm just getting in to riding a bike for commuting and building bikes. I just finished my first one and plan on riding everywhere. I joined to get info on upkeep and building and I hope to learn a lot!

I found a $5 bike at a recycling place near where I live. I stripped it down to the bare frame, painted it, then put it all back together with some new but mostly used parts I came across from friends and taking apart a couple other bikes. I think it turned out pretty well for my first project.
