Hi all,

Just joined the forum looking for some advice and to get involved in the community.

Currently riding my first 'project' bike, a Peugeot Tour 10, which started out being rescued from a student who had presumably had one too many to drink before trying to ride home one night. I think he'd had such a bump he would have given the thing away!

New rims/tyres/callipers/saddle etc. etc. and I was hooked.

I'm now looking to use this bike to experiment in longer rides (sadly it spends a lot of time weaving around white vans along the Brixton to Farringdon commute) and different gear setups before eventually starting to spend a bit bigger (although it will take a lot to make me give up my 80s beast).

Welcome to BF. There are quite a few riders here from the UK. Have any pics of London? Would love to see them.

I definitely had a few on my phone but sadly, being a traditional Londoner, I lost it in the pub. It even had a video clip of me riding round the wrong corner, straight into a riot that had started up. The ride home set a new PB for me...
