Hello

New here from Wisconsin. Completed my first century on my Trek 7100 on 9/11/11. After finishing realized it would be easier on a road bike. Last week I picked up a 1988 Cannondale Black Lightning and am just starting to get used to it. Can't wait for a few more rides before winter.

Hi DarkKnight, welcome to Bikeforums.

LOL, yeah, long distances are definitely easier on a road bike!

Thanks. The hills, only a couple, didn't slow me down. The wind, on the other hand, almost stopped me at times with the upright position on the hybrid. I am now ready for more with the "new" ride.
