Hello

Hi guys, I'm from Wales in the UK, and I recently switched from riding a mountain bike to a classic steel 1987 Raleigh Equipe (which I spent 6 months renovating after rescuing it from my Dad's shed).
It now looks really cool and runs very smoothly but I just can't get my head round friction shifting!
I'd like to upgrade to index shifting. Can anyone tell me which thread to post the question in!?

Thanks!

Welcome to Bike Forums.
The folks in the Classic & Vintage forum can help. Also the Bike Mechanics forum.
