Welcome! First off...thanks for your commitment to our country.

What type of riding are you enjoying? Mountain? Road? Somewhere in between?

Yep, thanks for serving!

Been riding for 40 years, and still love it.

What type of riding you interested in?

Semper fi, pal...welcome to BF. Note that you are allowed to use spelling and grammar here, lest we perpetuate the notion that us grunts are dumb as stones.

First, where has your tour brought you?

The more important question, is what kind of riding does your girl want to do? Hybrids are good for both road and light trails, but if you think you'll be doing 90% road, you might as well just start with that, because you'll end up a roadie before you know it.

Semper Fi. Sounds like a cyclocross bike may fit the bill as it can do a little bit of everything. My son is a Marine stationed in HI...thank you for serving.
