Greetings from 's Gravenhage!

Good day everyone, my name is Jacco and I'm from The Hague in The Netherlands. (Better known locally as Den Haag or 's Gravenhage )

I'm a 24 year old student, and as any good Dutch kid, I ride since childhood. So since the age of two.
Especially the last 8 years or so I started to enjoy it more and I am slowly looking for something else. I currently ride a Gazelle Orange Excellent from 2008. A 21.2Kg behemoth of a citybike in a framesize 65.

I enjoy riding all year round, with the exception of black ice. There is just something fun about sliding around in the snow.

In general I prefer my bikes low-maintenance, high-tech and good-looking.

I will probably be browsing this site the next few months, finally learning how to properly maintain a bike and reading gear reviews and browsing photographs.

Some specs:
Shimano Nexus 8
Shimano hub dynamo
Front and rear rollerbrakes
Axa Defender ringlock
Abus chain lock
A 4 year insurance on the bike.

Thanks 10 wheels. It might not be a speedmonster like some bikes here, but I like it.

Thanks, actually 's Gravenhage is the city I live in. The country is The Netherlands, or Holland. Some might recognize it as the country surrounding Amsterdam.
These pictures were taken at Veluwe National park in the east. Quite a beautifull place with lots of sand, pine forests and flowing landscapes.

Oops, I meant "country" in the sense that it can also mean rural area (think the country mouse and city mouse fable). Anyway, that park is beautiful!
