Hello from Chiapas, Mexico.
Hello
I am a 22 years old guy from southern Mexico. I ride since I was 10 years old and now my latest pleassure is cyclocross.
I live in a city where cycling is more than fun. Forests around for MTB and Cyclocross are huge and I cant complain about them. The nature is awesome and for road cycling we have also exelent roads. Around the city we have beautiful mountains where the ancian mayan culture certanly had their empire. The city is about 2200 meters over the sea level.
I am sorry if my english is not particulary good. I do the best I can.
Here is my beloved bike. A Giant tcx 2. Now is at the level of a tcx 1 with shimano 105 group and shimano xtr pedals.

Welcome.
Three years ago, if you had asked me were one might find Chiapas, I wouldn't have had a clue. But two summers ago, our family took a wonderful tour in the region, and had a most wonderful time. Kayaking on the Rios Ixcan y Lancantun were highlights, along with visiting the Mayan sites of Bonompak, Yaxchilan y Palenque. Some very special places. Would love to come back, spend some more time in San Cristobal and touring the countryside.
Can certainly see were the local region would be perfect for a cyclocross bike.
By the way, your English is better than my Spanish.

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Your English is very good.
Nice looking cyclocross bike. Do you race cyclocross?
I owned a 2007 TCX a few years ago. Great bike.

Well, I am in San Cristobal, so if you ever want to visit Chiapas again, I will show you many good places around full of adventure.
Hello, I dont race cyclocross, since we dont have people interested in it, but oh yeah I wish I could find some more people around my place and race a little... Maybe it sounds weird, but I train myself alone for cyclocross races, without knowing when will I have the chance to participate in a competition.
