Hello from New Jersey
Hi My name Rich,
I live in New Jersey and have decided that I would like to get back into road biking. As a teen I had a Schwin 10 speed Varsity and enjoyed riding until I discovered cars. I had been a runner but my running days are over due to some disk issues. After researching plush rides I have decided on a 2012 Trek Madone 5.2. It was a hard choice after I narrowed it down to two bikes: Cervelo RS (which comes with SRAM Rival componets) and the Trek Madone 5.2 (which comes with Shimano Ultregra 6700 componets). I loved both bikes but in the end I decided on the 5.2 because of the componets. The SRAM Rival felt cheap and unsmooth when shifting, braking was not as good as the Ultregra. I truely planned on the Cervelo RS but the 5.2 surprise me.
Look forward to the posts. I know I will be having tons of questions.
Rich
First question - Does everyone always fall when learning to clip in (my LBS states that they will train me using their trainor).
