Greetings my friends
Hello everyone,
I usually don't like to join any groups, forums, etc., but decided this is a good place to do it. I live in Northern Virginia where i do most of my riding on W&OD trail. My red Specialized Allez is my main ride and i just acquired a 1977 Fuji S10-S for commuting.
I got into cycling/biking thanks to my co-worker who commutes to work everyday. Seeing him ride in to work, go for a 10 mile ride at lunch and then ride back home baffled me. I didn't understand at that time how he could enjoy it so much? Eventually, i got sick of watching him and decided to join the fun. Finally, I did something right!
Thanks to him, I have learned a lot about cycling and bikes. Still have a lot more to learn. I'm hoping to continue my edumacation here and gain the ability to edumacate in return. This place seems to have a lot of kind people with various expertise.
Respect,
Bob

Welcome Bob,
Lived in Falls Church for 16 years, commuted between there and either Arlington or
DC for a good part of it.
Loved the W&OD trails back then, they weren't crowded as I hear they are now.

Thank you JeanSeb, 10 Wheels and Lotek.
Lotek- it is a great trail, probably the best 44.8 miles of Northern VA. I wouldn't say it gets crowded, but it does get busy sometimes when its nice out.
