Greg from Eastern Washington State...

Hi Group:
My name is Greg, and I live in Eastern Washington state, I'm 39, and have been into fitness and nutrition for the past 10 years or so. I have always enjoyed the occasional bike ride, however, recently decided to experiment with it more. This was primarily for the cardio benefits as much or more than the pleasure of the ride itself.
I am 6'6" tall and weigh 270 pounds so finding a bike frame that would fit me was a challenge. I bought what I'm told is a very very old bicycle; have ridden it maybe a hundred or so miles since purchase, and LOVE IT! love the ride and love the cardio both.
I would like to do both more mountain and road cycling.
I'm hoping posting and reading in the forums will expand my knowledge base. I'm hoping to learn more about maintenance, fun places to ride both mountain and road bikes, and maybe meet and socialize with other cyclists.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.
