Good Morning from Bama
Well I finally got my first bike. Been thinking about it for about two years. I wasn't 100%sure what type of riding I would be into. So I decided to go with a Hybrid to start. It's a Scott Sporster P5. It was a new 2010 model left over and just sitting in the bike shop. They gave me 40% off msrp so I couldn't pass it up. Now I just have to break the bike and myself in. A few miles at a time. Look forward to learning from your online community. And hopefully share some memorable and successful moments.

Hello tradrick,
Welcome to Bike Forums.
Congratulation on the new bike.
When I started I did 5 mile rides, rest then 5 more.
Got in 50 miles one day with that.
Take rest days off when you need them. You will come back stronger.
Take on problems one at a time and ask questions.
