A Warm Miami Greeting!

Hi there.

Just found this Forum -- it's really awesome.

Started riding again 3 years ago after a short 50 year hiatus. Started just after moving to Miami -- the place of flat lands and wonderful weather for riding all year.

Started with a Cannondale Adventure Hybrid and a month ago got a Scott CR1 Team with Shimano 105 Group Set. What a difference!

Been riding 3 to 4 mornings a week (semi retired) and shoot for an hour or 1,000 calories. Garmin Edge says been doing 15 miles and 1,000+ calories in little over an hour. Travel a lot so annual miles about 1,700.

Wish I found the site 3 years ago...better late than never eh?

Lived most of my life (36yrs) just north of you, Port St. Lucie, now in Ca. Looking forward to returning to my home town when the building industry recovers, HA!!! Florida is a great place for riding, if you don't mind getting wet. Rode all over the state as a kid and young adult, but life got in the way and recently as you have returned to the sport I love most. Enjoy your stay here.
