Hello folks
I always seem to end up at this forum through google searches, so I figured I may as well join in.
Im not an avid lifestyle-cyclist per se. I dont own any lycra/spandex, and always have ridden alone. Its my way of relieving stress. Now that mp3 players are around, the miles seem to rack up even quicker.
I started riding in the early 90's, and have had and on again/off again affair with bikes since. My favorite, obviously, is my 1979 Schwinn Le Tour. But I've recently acquired a single speed Motobecane from bikesdirect and it is pretty spiffy.
Looking forward to many discussions with you folks and will appreciate any knowledge passed my way from time to time. I average about 50-100 miles per week commuting and going on weekend adventures.

Ive been through several. And for some reason a Bontrager race saddle seems to be my favorite so far. Im not sure the model name, it was around $70 or so at the lbs. Before that it was an old trek oem seat I had laying around.
The Bontrager is very firm but fits my rear just right and supports in the right places. They have a "try it and see if you like it" policy so I tried a few, and settled on this one.
I'm thinking of finally replacing the og seatpost... Could probably lose a good bit of weight.
