Howdy from Fort Worth, Texas

I've been riding on and off since the early 90s and started back in earnest May 2010. I'm having a ball. The change in equipment has been nothing short of astonishing. I love my new carbon Kestrel.

Thanks. Where would you recommend riding around Galveston? I'd like to come down there and ride someday.

Welcome to the forum.

Come ride with the FWBA sometime, they are a very friendly group.

Does the FWBA do any rides on the north side of town? I live in Keller and most of the FWBA rides have been on the south side in the past.

You could check the link I gave to the FWBA.

The 'Paceline', the club's monthly newsletter, lists all the rides and with about 600 members, the club has rides in quite a variety of locations.

ALSO, you do not 'have' to be a member to go on the rides.
