Hello, all. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
I am an avid road and MTB rider and sometimes racer in northwest Florida. I've been riding for about 20 years. I am a mechanical engineer by trade and enjoy the tinkering and repair aspects, and helping friends continue a ride after a minor mechanical.
I also provide dynamic bike fit analysis using digital video, stationary or on-the-road video, and the Kinovea software application. I don't compete with the pros and bikes shops but like to help friends dial in their position.
I recently published a book on road bike skills development entitled Watch Your Line: Techniques to Improve Road Cycling skills. It is available in print and Kindle on Amazon, through iTunes for Apple, and at Roadbikerider.com in downloadable full-color PDF. I wrote the attached short article that summarizes some key points in the book. I hope you find it useful and I look forward to feedback and spirited discussion.
I'm glad to find another great cycling forum in bikeforums.net. I've been a long-time member of roadbikereview.com forums and look forward to great discussions here, as well.
