I LIVE IN WISCONSIN,AND IF YOU LOOK AT MY USER NAME, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT EXACTLY WHERE. I'VE GOT A BOTTECCHIA 10-SPEED THAT I BOUGHT NEW 10/76. THE FEW BIKE SHOPS I'VE BEEN TO CALL IT A CLASSIC. I GUESS I'M GETTING OLD. THE BIKE IS IN ALMOST AS GOOD OF SHAPE AS WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT'S MY "DAILY DRIVER" IN THE SUMMER. IF ANYONE HAS LITERATURE OR ANY OTHER INFO ON THESE BIKES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE IN THE "FROZEN TUNDRA?"

Welcome to the Forums!!!
Can'y help you with the bike --it's a little before my time, but if you have the equipment, post a pic. We all like to look at Classics.

This is their website:
www.bottecchia.com
Bottecchia's are still being made. Try a Google search on Bottecchia and you'll find several classics plus background info.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Timo
