Swede in NJ
Greetings to all!
Kestrel Talon riding Duathlete in NJ. Rode many, many years in Sweden, but stopped as I moved to the states 10 years ago. Finally got back to it last year..The new Kestrel Talon is my x-mas gift from my wife. Isn't that just too great?!
The wife got a Giant TCR a couple of months ago. Both bikes have combinations of Centaur/Record. And a bit embarrassing, but she will drop me over a longer distance (although I do have a much higher top speed and can maintain that for maybe 25-30 miles.)
Duathlete as I sink like a rock... Would love to try a Tri, but the safety boat would try to get a life jacket on my a**. "No Sir, I'm not drowning! This is what it looks like when I swin!"

Greetings, and welcome on board. (That's a general comment, not what the safety boat staff would be saying.) I guess riding in NJ during the winter feels kind of tropical compared to Sweden? Happy holidays!

I don't know if I would call it tropical, but it is about 10-15deg. warmer... It doesn't really matter much though... Can't really ride if it's under 32 and icy or if it's below 20 and snowy... It does get warmer about a month earlier and you can in general ride about 1-1.5 months longer, so yeah, that makes a BIG difference.
