Hello from New Jersey!

Hey guys. My name is Anna, came across this forum while searching for my first good quality bike. I decided to get back into biking for fun, exploring trails in the tri-state area, and for another way to train for an upcoming Tough Mudder event I'll be doing on my 23rd birthday this coming October.

Hoping to learn a bunch from all of you bike experts, since the biking world is more complex than I previously thought and I'm feeling a bit lost right now.

Tri-state, NJ/NY/CT or tri-state, NJ/PA/DE? In other words, north Jersey or south? I

It's a 10-12 mile mud run with obstacles that you can do with a team, complete with Berlin walls, mud, fire, electric shocks..... you should check it out!

Whoops should've specified, tri-state as in NJ/NY/PA, coming from central Jersey.

I spent a lot of time in central Jersey (Rutgers area) before crossing the river to Philly. Welcome!

Welcome to the forums!

I'm from PA, spent some time in NJ. Went to Kutztown University, and knew a bunch of people from the area just off of I-78.
