Hi from Leicestershire, UK

Hi, I'm a long time cyclist and currently living in Leicestershire. I've been cycling all my life but only got back in the saddle, after a long break, a couple of years ago. I hope to get lots of advice and be able to offer mine when I'm able.
My bikes are both old style. I have a MTB that I bought used in 1988 and my road bike I bought as a bare frame, in 1982, and transferred parts from an older bike and have been gradually improving the quality of components gradually.
For anyone who knows about the UK manufacturer Carlton my road bike frame came from a frame maker who set up in a unit on the old Carlton site. I have added Suntour derailleurs and shifters and SPD-SL pedals. I'm now looking for some aero brake levers.
My MTB is almost as I bought it. Only changes I've made are bar ends for a change of riding position and some SPD pedals like these.
