    Road bike newbie

After 48 years, I'm finally getting interested in cycling. A couple of years ago I got a "Wal-Mart Special" Schwinn Avenue which after some changes was a pretty reliable bike that I used to commute to and from work. I just finished my first bike build a couple of weeks ago. A Cinelli Xperience road bike with Ultegra 6700 drive train/FSA Plasma bars/Fulcrum Racing 5's. What a difference.(32lbs. vs. 17lbs.). I'm looking forward to getting some advice from you guys.

    Welcome!
I'm 52, did all my road biking in my teens, and am just now getting back into it myself. Got a Trek 1.1 Alpha.
I've found that forums like this one are incredibly helpful in overcoming difficulties encountered along the way.

Welcome to the forums. The more you ride you will really begin to appriciate the ride charactaristics of the Cinelli which may take some getting used to.
