Hello from New Hope, MN

Not new to biking but new to this forum. As you can note from my moniker, I'm not a spring chicken by a long shot.Turned 81 years old this year. Bicycles have come a long way since I was a kid. My proudest moment back then was when I bought a Schwinn Stutz bike with my paper route money. If I remember right, it was $65.00 out of the store. Had a sprung front fork, horn, lights, generator, white wall tires the works.

The last few years I have had a Schwinn 10 speed off road bike but lately haven't been riding it much because of worn out knees and hips and lack of stamina. Sooooo... next week sometime I will be taking delivery on a Trek 7200+ electric assist bike. I'm really looking forward to being able to go out on the trails again. I'll let you know later how it goes.

Welcome to the forums!
I lived in Minneapolis for 6 years, never rode any trails though so can't give any advice there. Have fun getting back out on the trails.

Hello to New Hope from Minneapolis. Sure hope I'm still riding when I'm 81!
