Greetings from Yateley, Hampshire, United Kingdom
Hey to all out there.
I'm Steve, passionate cyclist and cycling advocate. I started cycling again about 12 years ago after having given up smoking and saving the money I would have spent on smokes, my wife suggested buying bikes which I dismissed as a fad and the bikes would end up rusting in the shed.
Well that didn't happen, I now ride every day to work, I tour with the family, two girls 8 and 4 and I mountain bike with friends. In May i will be doing my first Audax (only 112KM).
I have a British made bike for MTB and On-One Inbreed. My tourer/commuter is a Kona Sutra, my wife has a Kona Ute and I have a general use bike which is an old Trek 4300 converted to single speed and used for commuting and as a general run about (possibly my favourite bike). For the odd occasion that I need it I also have a Dahon Speed 7 folding bike.
I'm 46 originally from South Africa and living in the UK with my wife and two daughters, I work for an international bank as an IT analyst, and my interests include, cycling (all discipline's) rugby union (also league) and technology.
Hope to catch up with you all on-line here some time.
Steve

Morning, enjoy the forum
For your British made MTB, On-One steel Inbreds are Taiwanese finest (via Rotherham, or Sheffield as they like to call it), apart from the design there's about as much British about them as any frame / bike from the far east.
For Audax, check out YACF https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=17.0, as this seems to have become the audax forum for the UK
