New to the board

Hi,
I'm new to the board! Last fall I went from riding a hybrid to riding a road bike. I own Cannondale R800. I split my residences between Southwest Florida and Southeast Michigan. I enjoy road riding and plan on during my first century this July in Michigan. I am in the market for another road bike and I am considering a Merlin. Any advice on this would be appreciated!
Take Care!

Heck, us Floridians are taking over this forum! Watch out Joe!

Where in SW FL are you? I'm in Sarasota, spend my time between the road bike (during the week) and my mt. bike on weekends (usually Sundays).

Merlins are very nice bikes, but be ready to spend some $$$$ I think a frame only is over $2500.00, but it'll last forever!

Let me know if I can help. I work Saturdays at a shop here in town and we focus on higher end road bikes! Cannondale, LeMond, Kestrel, Cervelo, and Felt are the brands we carry!

LeMond has a very nice production Titanium bike the Victorie, with full Ultegra group and Bontrager wheels for about half of what the Merlin will end up costing you!

We used to be a Litespeed dealer, but they wanted us to increase our order to 12 bikes, that a lot of expensive frames to have for display!

Welcome Again!

Hi There!
Thanks for the offer to help with my bike selection, I will keep your offer in mind! I am in Naples. We will only be here until the end of May and then we head back to Detroit We will probably return sometime late November or early December.
Thanks again with your offer to help!
