How are the bike friendly roads? Do you feel safe?

Will be riding a folder in the city for the first time next week and am little worried about it.

From where to where in Manhattan? If you can you have a great path down the west side.

I will be biking with a folder from the Port Authority or Wall St. to my job in Soho.

Would you recommend the West side path from PA to Soho?

Yes that is what I would be taking. No cars and at that hour of the morning it will be pretty empty. I am sure it will be a little crowded on the way back but you still don't have to deal with traffic.
