New Bike Owner
Hello, my name is Russ.
Last bike I owned was in high school, it was a really horrible Huffy Mountain Bike. It amazed people when I went mountain biking on it since the handle bars had no foam padding, just the straight metal bar. It weighed 36 pounds and was a handful. Until I got my driver's license, I was out mountain biking all the time in Walla Walla at the base of the Blue Mountains. Now I'm 32, living in Portland, and I just purchased a Giant Escape City. Can't wait to really get riding for commute to school at PSU, but just starting out by riding to Max will be ideal since it has been 16 years or so. At some point, might get a mountain bike, but for now, just the commute bike. I love how light weight the bike is, it is definitely going to be a good ride once I get my riding legs again. And it is true what they say, once you've learned how to ride a bike, you don't forget.
