Hello from Nashville, TN
Hey, just going to introduce myself. I have always been athletic, excelled in sports, then let myself go. I am at a crossroad where I need to get back into shape or my health will spiral downward. I intend on using this forum to help me achieve my goals. I have never been into cycling, but am looking forward to use it as an enjoyable way to achieve fitness goals. I am not trying to be Lance Armstrong, just healthy again. I am 6'1" 315 lbs currently. First and foremost, I am looking for advice on purchasing a bike. I am not wanting to break the bank. I am basically looking for a great entry level bike that will support my weight while getting in some cardio. Based on the above, can anyone recommend a bike for someone of my stature? I have read and read and am having problems finding a bike. I am not wanting to spend 500. I am beginning to think I am the first person this size, that has ever wanted to ride a bike. lol Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums! I was about where you were, 6'2" 300ish, I went with a Specialized Sirius Elite Disc! It's a hybrid. Very comfortable and was a great beginner bike for me.

thanks for the reply and advice. I am not really looking to spend that much as i am on a tight budget at the moment. I will however browse the clydesdale section you provided me with and hopefully come up with an affordable, yet quality solution. thanks again!
