Newbie reporting in
Hi everyone, my name is Andy and I am located in Colorado Springs. It is many years since I have owned or ridden a bike, but I recently purchased one each for my wife and myself so we could enjoy some of the bike trails in our neighborhood in what seems to be one of the most bike-friendly places in the country.
Unfortunately our riding is curtailed at the moment by the wildfires burning here which unfortunately have the city covered in a pall of smoke and ashes. Hopefully we will be back to normal here soon as the firefighters are making a gallant attempt at controlling the fires.
I am very much a novice and my plan is to increase my stamina and fitness slowly and hopefully work up to longer rides in the future, but right now we are purely recreational cyclists. Looking forward to learning a lot here as I believe in doing all my homework especially on something new.
