new here, looking for info/ advice on late 60's Frejus commuter
Hi Everyone! Glad to be here. I'm no expert at all on bikes, I've moved to Philadelphia and started riding again because it's simply the best way to get around this fairly flat town. Though I came from a place which is regarded by some as a bicycling destination, the roads were narrow and twisty, often had gravel patches and always had fast cars, and everything was far apart, so I haven't ridden much in years. Now I'm really enjoying the different quality of interaction I have with urban spaces from on a bicycle.
Really, I'm here with a few questions, though, about this cool bicycle I picked up that, alas, doesn't fit me. I'll post into the vintage threads in a bit, but if anyone has advice about what I should do with a really cool bike that might be special, which I have a crush on just for its style, that like I said, just doesn't fit, I'd love to hear it. Mostly what I want is the perfect bike, that's all. Smooth, quiet, tough, light, and of course: really cool. I'm a metalworker and am a sucker for objects that show their history, so patina is fine, and steel is cool, because I know it well, it doesn't wear itself out (like aluminum) and it makes sense.
Thanks,

Welcome to Bike Forums! If it doesn't fit, my vote is sell it and buy something equally cool that does fit. A bike you can't ride doesn't do a whole lot of good.
