Hello from Northern Utah

Howdy,
I am a 45 year old mechanical designer, I'm basically a MTB'r however I just bought a skinny tire a month ago and I am really enjoying it.
I live in SLC Utah and ride pretty much year round.
My Mountain Bike is an '03 Kona DawgDeelux, My road bike is an '04 Railiegh Competition. I try to get 20 miles a day on one or other of my bikes.
I commute to work in the summer, thats about 28 miles round trip but now winter is upon us I'm a lunch time warrior. We have a couple of different courses we ride that are 20+ miles.
My mentor is xray, who by the way is an animal on a bicycle.

M.R.

Welcome to the forums M.R.! I hope you find skinny tire cycling as rewarding as MTBs. I've been out in your area many times on business (mostly), but have made time to enjoy the skiing and such out there! Nice place! Welcome on board!

Welcome from Southern California!

I was just in SLC on Thursday and it was beautiful with a clear blue sky and snow-covered mountains all around. Looked like a great place to ride!
