New from northwest (Tacoma, Washington)

Just getting in to biking for both commute and exercise. My goal is to be able to bike to/from work/school and drive my car as little as possible. Currently own a Trek 1200 but will soon (hopefully) be getting a used 2011 Specialized Allez "sport". Also getting a 2011 Fuji carbon team RC frame to build over the next year or so I'll probably be lurking and posting in order to figure out what parts would be best for my needs and all that good stuff. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting to know the biking community better!

Ahhh nice bikes you got there!! Welcome to Bike Forums, dtale! Have you had a chance to check out our commuting section here? Lots of great tips and stories there, you might enjoy it! We also have a section called "Living car free" that you might want to visit. Have fun!
