Hello From Mesa, Arizona!

Howdy y'all from the toasty hot desert. I am a mountain biker turned roadie. Having logged thousands of miles on mountain trails realigning my spine and internal organs I am now enjoying the speed and freedom of the open road.

I recently acquired my first road bike and have wondered why it took so long to make the change. I bought a beautiful early 80's Puegot as I was not sure about the switch from mountain to road but now that I have a taste of the road I am already looking for my first major bike purchase.

So look all you East Valley roadies there is a Dragon on the road!

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Good luck finding the "right" bike. There are lots to choose from. Which bike(s) are you considering?

I really am not sure yet. There are so many brands to choose from. I have been told Giant and Allez have good entry level rides for the novice.
