Greetings from NW Alberta!

Hello Bike Forums Members!

Just a quick introduction for you...I am 42yrs old, married with 2 boys and living in northwestern Alberta (the Peace Country). I've been biking off and on throughout my life, but I want to learn alot more about bike touring. Long distance biking / camping / finding synergies with Biking & Kayaking. I have a strong outdoors background, being ex-military and having worked many years in the outdoors. I teach outdoor survival and continually upgrade my knowledge and skills in that area (my prime focus in the outdoors).

Anything I can learn abouit bike touring, kit, etc. from this group will be valued and appreciated!

Thanks!

Kurt.
