Noob from NW Ohio
Hi all. My name is Brian and I am from the Toledo, Ohio area. I was a MTB rider years ago and after a long hiatus, I have re-entered the cycling world only with a purpose this time. Over the years, I have put on quite a bit of weight to the end that I saw 310 lbs on the scale before I decided to do something about it. I have been riding my old Giant Warp moutain bike on trails and paths in my area for a bit over a month now. As of this morning I am down to 285 lbs and loving every minute I've spent on the bike. I want to switch to a road bike in the future but for now the old Warp will get me through. I'm glad to have found the forum and I look forward to learning from everyone here and hopefully make a few connections too!

Wow, congrats on the weight loss, keep on it! Don't you feel GREAT? There's a clydes and athenas section here and there are quite a few people who are doing the same thing that you are. They are very supportive and can offer lots of tips for you.
