New on the South Carolina roads and loving it!

Hello out there! I'm about six months into cycling now, and already addicted. After about 15 years off the bike, my wife bought me a Schwinn Sidewinder for my birthday. The bug took hold of me, I started riding with road cycling groups in the Summer, and I just got my first real road machine for Christmas (which makes it a lot easier to keep up with the pack!).

This is a quick hello,I've just signed on so this is really new to me. Not to take up to much time, my Name is George and at the present time I reside in the state of New Jersey. I'll be moving to North Carolina in about 3 months to Hubert right outside of the Marine Corps Camp Legune. If you know any Cycling Clubs nearby any infomation would be helpful. You may contact me at Gwd775@yahoomail.com Thank You George

I have a Trek 2300. I was a little concerned at first that it would be too much bike for me (though I loved it in the test rides), but after taking it on the road for a few decent outings, I've decided that it really is a great fit and the right choice! The difference between this bike and the steel mountain machine I was pedaling on pavement is like night and day.

Where in South Carolina are you? I live in the Irmo area, which is just outside of Columbia. I just recently found this forum and am loving it.
