Hello from Washington state
I've reentered the wonderful world of bicycles after a few years off. When I was a young lad, my primary means of transport was my BMX bike which I rode all over town, and did some BMX racing before trying my hand at freestyle and big air (I didn't really have the testical fortitude for jumping though). Next I graduated to my trusty Ross 10 speed that I rescued from the town dump. I must have put a few thousand miles on that thing before getting a job forced me to use my car as a primary means of transport. Fast forward to 2 years ago when I started riding a mountain bike to work (another bike rescued from the trash), but mountain bikes really aren't my scene, so I grew weary of it. Now I've secured myself a 2004 Cannondale r3000 which was converted to single speed and I couldn't be happier with this setup. I don't put the kind of miles on a bike to need gears, and I'm not touring, racing, or doing tri's; so this works out well for me. I'm new to the world of high end bikes, so I've already been stalking his forum for knowledge.
Thanks in advance for all the helpful tips in sure i'll receive.
