Hi my name is Edward.
I just got back into cycling a few weeks back after about a 12 year absence.
Im not new to cycling, I used to be part of the Tandem Club of europe in the late 90s, but I was a lot fitter back then and recently found out that I cannot do 10 miles in 27 minutes anymore
I picked up a bike from a thrift store for $15, I researched it and found out that its a 1988 Fuji Absolute with a 4130 Chromo frame, nothing special, but for me having rode chromo most of my life I feel like i picked up where I left off. After new tires,tubes,seat,bar tape,trip computer I am in about $150 total, which I think is what this bike is worth? Roughly?
I am originally from the UK, I have a beautiful 86' Peugeot Mont Cenis at my dad's place, but my little sister is using it right now and it will be great to ride it when I visit! I am on the look out for another French bike, preferably with Super Vitus 980 tubing what sort of price would I be looking at for say a mid 80s Peugeot with SV980/Columbus/Reynolds?
