Greetings from AZ

Hello,

I found this forum while searching for info on dating vintage bikes. Today, on the recommendation of my daughter in law, I bought a Raleigh SuperCourse Mk II on craig's and hope to learn its birth year.

Greetings from a NV rider who grew up in Phoenix. I used to ride up South MTs to Dobbins Lookout as a kid.

Do you have some pictures of the bike you purchased. There are a ton of helpful people here. BTW the Raleigh will serve you well.

Bikepedia is a great resource for researching bikes. Seems that 2005 was the first year the Supercourse was "birthed."

I was born in Henderson, NV, but don't remember it. Grandparents lived in LV.

Yes I have a few pictures of my Raleigh:

My DIL found it for me on craigs.

Thanks for the bikepedia link.

I know Cottonwood pretty well. In high school I played in a Chicago style band. We played in Cottonwood several time. Great area, not as hot a Phoenix, access to Sedona and Flagstaff.

Your bike has some awesome rigging, looks great.
