bianchi bike

hello to all…this is my first post....
i just bought a bianchi bike…it is purple….i believe it is an 80s bike….it is light and feels great…..it looks magnificent….it has sun tour gears (it's a 10 speed), and the side pull brakes are dia compe…

serial number appears to be AS309768….it is a 19 inch frame….

seems like a nice bike…..can you tell me anything about it? where it was made? is it good quality?

thanks

hello again...i have heard that bianchis are all good!! even the asian made ones were made under strict supervision from the italian manufacturers, and that even an entry level bianchi is better than most bikes out there in the world....especially when we consider that this is probably an 80s bike, the workmanship was excellent in that time frame...also, the dia compe brakes and suntour gears, i am told, are actually very good components....

this is what i have gathered since my original post....always happy to hear more though...

regards to all
