Hello to all from Ohio

Wanted to say Hi. From the North Canton area of Ohio. Used to ride years ago and am still riding the the old bike. Its a '95 Specialized Sirrus Sport. Started riding again back in late spring. Glad to be riding again and glad to have found this site. Did manage to put 1100 miles on the old bike this year also.

Hey Kbat,

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Are you going to try cold weather riding?

'95 Sirrus, eh? At one point, the Sirrus line sported drop bars, but at some point they migrated to flat bars.... I just don't recall when that was....

That's better than me . . . 50 is my cutoff point. There's other ways to stay in shape.

Welcome from another newb! I answered you in the other thread.

I got out yesterday before the hellacious wind I was riding in brought the 28 degree temps. Lowest so far I've ridden was at 31, but by the time I finished it was in mid forties. As bored as I may end up being, I'm going to spring for a trainer and do quite a bit of time in the basement this winter. I've got some goals I want to shatter next summer.

Hey Kbat, welcome aboard. Out here in the desert I decline riding when it gets above 105. Enjoy riding and chatting it up with this group. Its a pretty good bunch.
