Newb from CT

Hi All,
I'm looking to get into biking, a bit for commuting and a bit to shed a couple pounds. I joined up to tap into the huge amounts of knowledge here!
Looking forward to it all.
Thanks.

Hey! Welcome! I'm originally from SE CT, then central CT, now western MA. What kind of riding do you do? Where are your favorite spots?

Mystic has some beautiful spots to ride. I'm from Niantic, so I know the area well.

I'm Down in the fairfield area. Just moved back from Rhode Island. I will mostly be doing commuting/around town riding on the road. I'm actually in the market for a new bike now. BTW I love the mystic area, it's beautiful up there.

Did you do a lot of riding in Rhode Island? Every time I'm down there I always think about how well set up the land is for it.

I used to ride the bike path from Bristol to Providence all the time. It's a great ride.

Look into the Soundcyclists bike club. We do lots of rides during the warmer months for all levels. Maybe I'll see you out there. I'm in Bridgeport myself.
