I have been visiting here for 4 years and have learned a ton. Good people.

Greetings from Henderson, NV!

Thank you for responding. This is my second year returning to road biking after a 15+ year layoff. In your opinion, what is the best work out in increasing your speed endurance?

Speed : increase your cadence (RPMs) with some intervals : Join a club or group and try to keep up with the faster riders.

Endurance: Ride at a pace just short of not being able to talk. Also, long slower rides, eating and drinking while you ride.
Stand up often to stretch your legs, back, and let some blood flow in your butt.

Ride much and take a day or two off the bike to rest. You will return feeling stronger.
