newbie from PA

Hi, Matt here. I've been riding bike since I can remember. (44 now) I have really gotten serious in the last few years and started riding to work as well to get more miles in. Most of my riding is on the road, with an occasional mtb ride. Other than biking, I like to hunt, boat, and whatever sport my kids are playing at the time.
Take care.

Hey Matt,

Welcome to Bike Forums from a Texas road rider.

How far is your commute?

My daily commute is about seven miles each way. If the kids don't have any pm events I try to ride and extra hour on the way home. I usually try for 125-150 a week. Some days it gets very hard to be motivated to ride to work here in the northeast on those 35 degree mornings when I have to be at work at six am. Though once I'm on the bike riding I'm always glad I didn't drive.
